And the Winner of Project Runway Is…

Starring : the "stars" in this post aren't "A-List" for top bill.

Chloe Dao

Last week, I posted about the Final Three designers on Project Runway and got some great comments from some stylish readers as to who they thought should win. Well, this week was part two of the finale and Chloe Dao has won the competition.

What do you think of the choice?

Personally, her collection was my least favorite of the three, but I’m sure we haven’t heard the last from either Santino or Daniel V.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! I hadn’t seen it yet and wouldn’t get to see it until this weekend because of where I am! I really didn’t wanna know…. :(

I was surprised. I totally thought Santino would win. Debra Messing was a complete waste of space. You could tell that she was desperate to say anything and she didn’t know what she was talking about.

Sorry Miss Cinnamon, but the results are all over the web. I’m not sure how you were going to avoid knowing for two or three days. Hope you still enjoy the last show.

Bad Hair Czar, I thought Santino was going to win as well. I have to admit his collection was my favorite. Plus, they seemed to spend so much of the past two episodes trying to soften his image and humanize him more that I thought they were preparing us for him to be the winner. Oh well, it was still some fun TV. Can’t wait until next season!

I was shocked. After it was obvious that they were going to eliminate Santino (gasp!), I was sure Daniel was going to win. Did they judge the winner solely on the collection? What about the rest of the series? Didn’t he win at least four times?? On one hand, like the judges, I did like Chloe’s unexpected seams, but all that satin drove me crazy! And Daniel at least had some variety in his collection. Arrgghh!
And, yes, what exactly was Debra Messing doing there? She had nothing to say except, “Tell me what you were trying to do with this collection.” Pitiful.
