Oscar winner Cate Blanchett is one of seven actors who will portray Bob Dylan at various stages of his career in the film, “I’m Not There”, scheduled for release next year. Other members of the cast include Heath Ledger, Michelle Williams, Julianne Moore and Richard Gere.
Sounds like an interesting concept, but I wonder how it will translate to film. Guess I’ll just have to wait and see…

From what I’ve read, I think it’s more along the lines of the different actors representing parts of his personality, so both men and women are playing him at different points in the film. I think it’s one of those artsy fartsy films…
