Natalie Portman attended the premiere of her new film “V for Vendetta” this past week in NYC.
Now, it is a well documented fact that SJS does not like Natalie’s short hair. But, I did not even notice her hair when I saw this picture.
What could possibly be the explanation for showing up at a premiere in a shapeless hefty bag frock with duct tape straps?
Is she trying to convey that, in the bleak futuristic world depicted in her film, women’s wear will have to be constructed of items found around the house?
Is she just continuing the DIY trend of using everyday items like tablecloths and sheets to create dresses?
Did her luggage get lost at the airport? What’s going on here?

I like it better than her hair. But I don’t like the chunky-strapped shoes.
