It was announced yesterday that two-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank plans to file for divorce from Chad Lowe, her husband of eight years.
An attorney for the couple stated that they “have jointly decided to divorce. They continue to be friends and have the utmost respect for one another.”
Swank and Lowe have been separated since January of 2006.
