Lance Bass Announces He's Gay

Lance Bass revealed to People that he’s gay and in a “stable” relationship with Amazing Race winner, Reichen Lehmkuhl.

He said he never came out until now because he didn’t want to jeopardize the popularity of his boy band, NSYNC.

He does claim, however, that “The thing is, I’m not ashamed – that’s the one thing I want to say. I don’t think it’s wrong, I’m not devastated going through this. I’m more liberated and happy than I’ve been my whole life. I’m just happy.”

But does this mean he knows NSYNC is already finished, does his new relationship propel him out of closet-safety, or does he think the public will accept him more in today’s times?
