Wow. This story is everywhere. Paris Hilton had a fender-bender when her Range Rover backed into a car in a parking garage after a shopping trip on Thursday. The controversy swirling around Ms. Hilton this time, is whether or not she violated hit and run laws. The video does show her Range Rover stopping briefly and then continuing to exit the parking garage.
The car she backed into, a parked Honda Civic, showed signs of damage to the bumper. Paris’s Range Rover also showed signs of the same type of scrapes and bumper damage.
TMZ.com has video documentation of the entire incident, which you can view above, courtesy of YouTube.
Although many accounts I’ve read claim that Hilton did violate the law and commit a hit and run, her publicist denies it, insisting that Paris did not break any laws. He explained the situation by saying that, “The intensity of the lights, flashbulbs, momentarily disoriented her. She backed up, there was a minor fender-bender. No injuries. She then told me she notified one of the parking people at the facility how to contact her and asked the person to please pass that along to the owner of the struck car. Did she commit a crime? No.”
What do you think? It’s certainly not the first time she’s had some driving difficulties.

As much as I dislike Paris and her ilk, I have to say, I don’t know how these celebrities are supposed to drive safely with paparazzi in their faces with video cameras and flashing bulbs. It’s a wonder more of them aren’t in more severe accidents.

Although, sure, the accident wasn’t her fault, the story of giving her info to some parking lot dude is cr**.
